WHEN I’M DANCING WITH THE ANGELS
After
a period of silence, I would like to make my position very clear. I want to
make sure that when, “I’m dancing with the angels,” I will be able to say that
I did every thing possible to expose a con-artist to my family and friends. It
astounds the souls of honest citizens the mockery Donald Trump and his
followers have made of American laws. America
has only scratched the surface of what this is doing to the morality of America ’s
youths.
Americans
were provided with blessings that made the United States the greatest nation
on the planet. However, those blessings
have been turned into a reign of evil in the form of greed, lying, and a lust
for power. That reign of terror has now accelerated to the point that America is
being governed by a gang of outlaws.
I
am compelled with a message for Donald Trump supporters. There is a part of me
that pities the inept intelligence in the inability of some Americans to
recognize a con-artist when there is so much evidence to confirm the obvious. However, on the other hand, it stirs anger in
me to accept the knowledge of what this is doing to the future generations of
Americans.
At
the very least, it is a fact that Donald Trump and his followers operate as a
gang of outlaws. Non-acceptance of this fact asserts a brainwashed individual
who is a member of one of the largest political cults in history. I am proud to
announce that a different blood flows through my veins. It is a blood that is
rich with respect for my fellowman; a
blood that reflex’s the beauty that is in all colors of skin; a blood that is
filled with acceptance of all genders of humans, and a blood that flows with the
liquidity of freedom.
There
is something bad wrong when numerous Americans allow their minds to be
controlled by a political cult that is in direct opposition to a democracy. The
only hope in keeping America ’s
democracy intact is that honest voters turn out in large numbers in November
2020, and vote against the communist cult that has taken over the Republican
Party.
I
feel fortunate that I have been able to turn the pages of history to learn that
all dictators, have been madmen, with an overwhelming desire for power, and
without any sympathy for their constituents. It is of great concern that some citizens,
who have experienced freedoms, would sacrifice personal freedoms for an
authoritative government. I am also proud that I have been endowed by my
creator with a brain that is activated with the desire for freedom, and a blood
that is reddened with the determination not to settle for anything less.
- “When we’re
dancing with the angels, the question will be asked, in 2019, what did we
do to make sure we kept our democracy intact?”
- Rep. Elijah
Cummings, Oct.17, 2019.
Now that the Impeachment Trial of Trump is underway in the US Senate, we see the divide even more clearly. When we take a look at 2 of the TRUMP lawyers,Alan Dershowitz, and Ken Star giving their opinions that Trump should not be convicted in the Senate. Both gave opposite views when President Clinton was facing Abuse of Power charges.
ReplyDeleteNow comes John Bolton a very staunch Republican Conservative who was selected by Trump to serve in Trump's administration as National Security Adviser. He claims that he will testify UNDER OATH as to what Trump did. Which appears, according to information he is ready to publish, shows Trump is guilty of what the House has Impeached Trump for. Why would the Republicans not want to hear from him and to question Bolton in the Senate Trial? They still could vote not to convict Trump. But not wanting to even hear and question Bolton seems like tearing up the US Constitution. Ignoring the Oath where they swore to impartially judge the evidence.
All Americans should be able to hear the complete testimony of RELEVANT witnesses.
But hearing that McConnell speaker of the Senate is working lock step with the White House and the attorneys defending Trump, shows this is the true end of our constitutional democracy.
Thank you, Craig, your elegant manner with words is remarkable. You should express your opinions more. I agree with every word and I admire the way the words are expressed.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what abuse of power according to wikipedia it was for The impeachment of Bill Clinton was initiated on October 8, 1998, when the United States House of Representatives voted to commence impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States, for "high crimes and misdemeanors". The specific charges against Clinton were lying under oath and obstruction of justice. The charges stemmed from a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against Clinton by Paula Jones and from Clinton's testimony denying that he had engaged in a sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. The catalyst for the president's impeachment was the Starr Report, a September 1998 report prepared by Independent Counsel Ken Starr for the Hou

ReplyDeleteThen why were the Republicans not allowed to call one witnesses when it was in the house. On last question how many Republicans were on the Mueller' team . Answer An examination of the voter registration records of the 16 publicly confirmed lawyers on Mueller’s team found that 13 of them are registered Democrats. Not a single one is a registered Republican. Three have no party affiliation. So does that seam fair
